Keep Cooking & No One Explodes

A cooperative hectic card based cooking game. Fill out orders at lightning speed to earn points.

Overview


Players must work together to try and complete orders as fast as possible to earn score. Failure to do so in time will result in the deduction of said score. This games primary goal is to force players to work together in an ever increasingly more crazy environment to test their teamwork. This will be done through splitting up the primary stations,or blue cards, among all the players. This will mean all players must communicate and pass around the proper materials to meet their goals. Currently only one recipe is ever called for and created, but more will be added in the future after I iron out the bugs in multiplayer.

As seen in the initial video, every card can be interacted with many other cards. This is dealt through an interaction matrix in the code. Upon being interacted with, the card checks to see what kind of card we have in our hand. Depending on which card we have, the cards will then perform an action. Some of these actions include creating a new card, removing a card, or placing the card underneath the primary card.
